Free spins and the four numbers behind them
Spin bundles are advertised by count because count is the most impressive figure available. It is also the least informative. A bundle is priced by spin value, by the wallet its winnings land in, by the multiplier applied to those winnings and by the ceiling on what can leave the account. Change any one of the four and the same headline becomes a different offer.
See the current spin offersNumber one: value per spin
Each spin runs at a fixed stake defined by the campaign, often around €0.10 or €0.20, and the player cannot adjust it. That converts the count into a stake total: 100 spins at €0.10 is €10 of play, while 50 spins at €0.20 is the same €10. Presented side by side, the first bundle looks twice as generous and is exactly equivalent. This is the first calculation to run, and it takes five seconds.
Number two: which wallet the winnings enter
Some offers credit spin winnings as cash, immediately available under the usual payout checks. Most credit them as bonus funds carrying a requirement. That distinction matters more than the spin count, because it decides whether you have won something or merely started something.
Number three: what the multiplier is applied to
Here spins differ from deposit matches in a way that surprises people. The multiplier is usually applied to the winnings produced by the spins, not to their nominal value. Two players with the same bundle can therefore end up with very different obligations. If 50 spins return €6 and the terms say 30x, the requirement is €180. If they return €40, the requirement is €1,200 — a larger win creates a larger lock. The general mechanics are covered under wagering requirements.
Number four: the payout ceiling
Most spin promotions cap the amount withdrawable from their winnings. With a cap of €100, a rare large hit does not change the outcome: the excess is removed at conversion. That is not sharp practice, it is how a free product is costed — but it does set the realistic upper bound, and it should be read before the first spin rather than discovered at the cashier.
Timing: drip credits and short lives
| Timing rule | Practical effect |
|---|---|
| Spins credited in daily batches | Twenty per day for five days rather than one hundred at once |
| Daily batch expires same day | Unused spins do not roll forward |
| Separate deadline for winnings | The wagering clock runs independently of the spin schedule |
| Max bet still applies | The ceiling binds while bonus funds are live, after the spins are gone |
The game is chosen for you
Spins are tied to a specific title or a short list agreed between operator and studio. That limits choice and also removes risk: you are sampling a game without staking your own money on it. Since slots are the category that normally contributes in full, winnings from spins are unlocked in the same environment that produced them — which is one of the few places where the mechanics work in the player favour.
A short pre-flight check
- Value per spin, and the stake total it represents.
- Cash or bonus credit for the winnings.
- Multiplier, and whether it applies to winnings or nominal value.
- Payout ceiling and expiry schedule.
All four answers appear in the same window as the accept button, and that window is the version that binds. Descriptions elsewhere, including this page, explain the mechanism rather than set it. If a bundle arrives as a tournament prize, the prize form rules apply as well — see no deposit offers for the strictest variant of the same structure, and responsible gambling for session controls.
